Bury St Edmunds

Bury St Edmunds really is one of Suffolk's hidden gems. Famous for it's ruined Abbey and fabulous Abbey gardens along with the magnificent Bury St Edmunds Cathedral and Grade 1 listed Theatre Royal these are all well worth a visit. 

The town itself is a mixture of high street names and wonderful independent shops, offering a fulfilling shopping experience. Along with the twice weekly market (weds & sat) it really does offer something for everyone.

Greene King brewery, boasting over 200 years of history, has a superb visitor centre where you can tour the working brew house and taste the beers of the moment. 

In the town centre Moyes Hall museum gives an insight to the areas unique and fascinating history. 

With a modern cinema and restaurant complex and the fantastic 'Arc' shopping centre you will never be short of things to do in Bury St Edmunds. 

Bury comes alive in the evenings and weekends with a fabulous array of pubs, restaurants, comedy clubs and if you fancy it, nightclubs.

Bury also has major supermarkets such as Sainsbury's, Tesco, Asda, Waitrose and Somefield.
