Long Melford

Long Melford is undoubtedly one of Suffolk's most attractive villages. As the name implies the village has one of the longest high streets in England, all 2.5 miles of it. Full of charming independent shops, art galleries, antique shops, cafe's, restaurants and vibrant Suffolk Inns.  Two Tudor mansions are within Long Melford, Kentwell Hall and Melford Hall.

When entering the main high street The Bull Hotel is a prominent building, built in 1450, and has had a fascinating history, including playing host to John Lennon in the 1960's.

There are numerous places to relax and eat enjoying true Suffolk charm.
